Dharma and it’s shastra

What is #dharma?

That unique character of the atma which through speech and action begets happiness in this and other worlds is dharma (haradatta).
How to identify dharma?
If it’s accepted by the vedas and accepted unanimously and praised by sadhus who have no hatred or desire then understand that it’s dharma (#manu)
Know dharma by what deeds are praised by the elders who are versed in the vedas. Know adharma by what they condemn (#vishwamitra)

Ok – so what is the #sanatanadharma

Truth, restraint, penance, cleanliness, contentment, patience, righteousness, wisdom, restraint of the mind, compassion, dhyana (reflective introspection) these are the eternal attributes of dharma एष‌ धर्मः सनातनः। (Vyasa)

In summary what the elders point out as praiseworthy is dharma what they point out as condemnable is adharma
