92. kulAngana
कुलाङ्गना।

The devi is a kula -stree – lady belonging to a family or kula. Just as the lady of a kula protects herself from outside glare but moves freely with her family – devi hides herself in the veil that is mAyA – avidhya but to the sadhaka initiated in srividhya she reveals herself. While the paths to various devataas are easily accessible the srividhya is considered secretive and not readily accessible. Since the devi and her path are like a lady of a family she is called कुलाङ्गना।
